I’ll be presenting a ~20-minute presentation to the Data Science Meetup of Rand Merchant Bank (RMB), a group hosted by Matthew Bernath of the Financial Modelling Podcast.
The event is on Monday 10/4 at 10a Eastern US; 4p Johannesburg and is open to anyone working with data at RMB, a South Africa-based corporate and investment bank part of FirstRand, one of Africa’s largest financial services providers.
In this presentation, I’ll review how Python fits in with Microsoft’s stack of data analytics tools, and what might be coming next:
- How to automate the production of Excel spreadsheets using Python
- How to perform advanced data cleaning in Power Query with Python
- How to insert Python visualizations into Power BI dasboards
The resources for this event are available at the GitHub repo.
Could your team or department use a similar introduction to Python for Microsoft BI? Let’s do it — Drop me a line or book a call now.
